Microsoft’s Kevin Gallo got up on stage at Build 2016 to announce that as of today developers will be able to get their hands on Visual Studio 2015 Update 2 as well as a preview of the Windows 10 Anniversary SDK Preview.

This means that developers will be able to start building apps with Visual Studio 2015 that take advantage of the new capabilities announced today for the upcoming Windows 10 Anniversary update. This includes new inking, Bluetooth, Cortana, and notification center capabilities among others. As we get closer to the release of Redstone, now officially named the Anniversary update, it will be interesting to see what developers are able to do with the new capabilities coming to Windows 10 this summer. Stay tuned as the story develops.
