Earlier today, AT&T mentioned that the HTC One M8 for Windows is making its way to the carrier. Now, they’ve officially announced other details about the phone as well, including the pricing and availability of the handset. The HTC One M8 for Windows will land on AT&T retail shelves on November 7th, coinciding with the Lumia 830, for $199.99 tied to a two-year contract.
The metal-clad handset is also available on AT&T’s Next plan for $27.92 a month with Next 18 or $33.60 a month with Next 12. Those who don’t want to sign a two-year contract with the carrier can grab the handset off-contract for a hefty $669.99.
HTC One M8 for Windows first launched a few months back on Verizon. We heard several reports at the time that it will be making its way to other major US carriers. And, that had indeed happened, as it’s now available on AT&T, and will make its way to T-Mobile in the coming months too. There’s no word about the pricing it will follow on the Magenta carrier, but more information are expected to pop up in the coming weeks.
It ships with Windows Phone 8.1 pre-installed out of the box with the personal voice assistant Cortana. It also comes with an extremely beautiful metal design which feels a lot premium. The handset features a 5-inch 1080p display, 2GB of RAM, a 2,600 mAh battery, and features 32GB of internal storage coupled with a microSD card support should you ever need more storage. The handset maintains its Duo camera setup consisting of a 4MP UltraPixel camera with a depth sensor, as well as a 5MP front-facing camera.
The handset comes with a bunch of productivity apps, including Skype, the Office productivity suite to help you work without your documents on the go, OneDrive and much more.
