Here are this week's Red Stripe discounts for various Windows Store apps (November 2nd)

Every week, Microsoft offers a selection of apps and games at a heavily discounted price. Typically, the price reduction is up to 50 percent. If you are hunting for the latest deals on popular apps, check out the list below.

This week, we are treated to six apps that are discounted up to 50 percent. We see a range of apps and games, including an action game, a sports game, a file manager, a note taking app, and more. Check out the list below and let us know which app you plan to purchase for your Windows 8.1 device!

  • Skulls of the Shogun ($1.99) – Players immerse themselves in battle with fun and unique game play features amidst lush, eerie environments.

  • Hockey Nations Powerplay ($0.99) – Pick your team from 18 country teams or play as your favorite local team from anywhere around the world by customizing one of the 40 city teams

  • Metro Commander Pro ($3.99) – Metro Commander is an orthodox file manager which allows you to manage your files and folders from within the Modern Windows UI interface.
