NBA 2K15

There’s a piece of good news for all the die-hard basketball fans out there — at least for those who are in possession of an Xbox One or Xbox 360. NBA 2K15 is now available for both the Xbox One and Xbox 360 for $59.99, and is up for pre-orders. The game offers one of the best NBA experiences on your gaming console, with realistic graphics and gameplay.

Don’t worry if you’re new to basketball, MyPlayer let users start off as an amateur, and play on to become one of the Hall of Famers in the game. Later, you can even put your skills to the test through the game’s multiplayer mode called the Park Mode, which allows users to compete against thousands of players from across the globe.

The app description says:

On the heels of NBA 2K14’s 70 Game of the Year Award Nominations, the NBA 2K franchise is the ultimate basketball simulation experience. Featuring NBA MVP Kevin Durant on the cover, NBA 2K15 hits the court with unprecedented life-like graphics, ultra-realistic NBA gameplay, and more. Take your MyPLAYER on an epic journey from undrafted rookie tryout, to MVP, to NBA Hall of Famer. Park Mode lets you ball against the world’s toughest 2K competitors in cutthroat multiplayer pick-up games.

NBA 2K15 also features a new facial scanning technology, allowing users to play as themselves during the game by scanning their face using the Kinect — this feature is not available for PC users.  Clearly this is a perk for those who own a Kinect with their Xbox console.

The availability will vary as the international launch of the game is scheduled for October 9th for Australia and New Zealand, while gamers in Africa, Europe, and Middle East will be able to purchase and download the game starting October 10th. Users in Japan — where Xbox One failed to gain traction — may have to wait a little longer as the game will launch in the region on November 27th. You can also check the availability for your region through Xbox Live.

Download the game for your console and let us know about your thoughts regarding the game. You can read more about the game via the developer’s blog link below.
