Minecraft is getting into the holiday spirit with the release of the Festive Mash-Up Pack, which will hit Xbox One and Xbox 360 on December 10th. The DLC will add a bunch of winter and holiday-themed items and textures to the Minecraft. The contents of this mash-up pack include a holiday-themed texture pack, 36 brand-new skins, and new music by Minecraft composer C418. The Festive Mash-Up Pack will cost $2.99 and is currently exclusive to Xbox consoles.
This mash-up pack is a bit different from previous mash-up packs that were based on other games like Skyrim, Halo, and Mass Effect. Those mash-up packs included skin and texture packs, but the mash-ups appeared to be kept exclusively for those larger releases rather than for something like the holidays. Maybe there will be more types of these themed mash-ups to Xbox One and Xbox 360 in the future. Minecraft is a great place to mine, build, and create. Now, with the Minecraft Festive Mash-Up Pack, you can create your own winter wonderland.
