Get downloading -- Titanfall for PC is ready for preloading by Origin gamers

It’s not long since we learned that Titanfall for Xbox One had gone gold as the launch nears. The official launch date for the PC and Xbox One versions of the hottest game of the moment is 11 March for North America and 13 March in Europe, but for anyone who has pre-ordered for the Origin platform the game is already available for download.

Gamers on Reddit have reported that the game is downloadable and weighs in at around 20GB, expanding to 50GB, which is pretty much in line with what were were expecting. There is something of a rush underway at the moment to grab it before word spreads too far and the servers get completely clogged.

But this is not the only reason for jumping on the download straight away. If you grab your copy now, you can go ahead and play it ahead of the official launch. Vince Zampella from Respawn Entertainment confirmed this in a tweet:

About playing early: We won’t stop or ban legit copies. It is prelaunch, so there may be interruptions in service as we prep servers.

Have you been able to get your hands on your copy? If you have, you’re probably reading this several days later as you’ll no doubt have been engrossed in the game! Let us know your thoughts below.
