Huawei rumored to be planning high-end Windows 10 Matebooks for early 2017

\n

It has been rumored that Huawei is planning on bringing 2 new MateBook devices in 2017, running Windows 10. The devices are said to not only be 2-in-1s and will come in 2 screen sizes: 13.3-inch and 15.6-inch. No price or imagery is available yet of the devices, but we should expect to see more in the not-so-distant future.

Microsoft sets the record straight on Windows 10 Game DVR

\n

With Windows 10 came a new feature for gamers, known as Game DVR. It allows gamers on Windows 10 PCs to quickly record gameplay without having to install third-party software. For some, however, this new feature has apparently caused performance issues on some hardware configurations. In response to these concerns, Major Nelson published a blog post to address them. Major Nelson explains that Game DVR should not cause any performance issues on hardware that using the latest graphics drivers for the Anniversary Update, noting that users should see “equal performance”.

Microsoft rolling out Focused Inbox to Outlook for Mac and web, Windows 10 coming soon

\n

Microsoft has finally provided a timeframe on when Windows 10 will be receiving Focused Inbox support for Outlook. As has been the case for some time, however, platforms other than Windows, such as Mac and Android, will be receiving Focused Inboxes before Windows 10 and Windows 10 Mobile. Windows platforms are slated to receive the update sometime in November – an exact date is not known at this point.

\n

Focused Inboxes separates emails into 2 inboxes – the Focused Inbox is everything that is deemed important to the user and then another inbox, which shows the not-so-important emails, in order to help users stay focused on their work without being bombarded by numerous emails of low importance.
