Microsoft details all Xbox hardware offerings for the holidays

This holiday season, there will be plenty of Xbox offerings on the store shelves of retailers across the world. This is why Microsoft recently took to the Xbox Wire to highlight the Xbox consoles accessories and consoles which will be available for consumers as they head to the stores to purchase gifts.

First and foremost, the company highlighted the power of both the Xbox One X and the Xbox One S. The built-in 4K UHD Blu-Ray player, premium audio with Dolby Atmos support, Xbox live, Xbox Play Anywhere, and Xbox Game Pass are features on both of the consoles. Microsoft also points to some special deals at participating retailers.

  • From now through November 18, buy an Xbox One X and save $50 USD on Xbox Elite Wireless Controller

Secondly, Microsoft pointed gamers to the power of the Xbox One X. “Xbox One X is both the most powerful console in the world and the smallest Xbox ever built, capable of true 4K gaming. With 40 percent more power than any other console, Xbox One X is where console gamers can play the best versions of games,” writes Microsoft. Also mentioned are Xbox One X Enhanced games, and the matter in which Xbox One X makes existing games look better with higher-resolution textures, smoother frame rates and faster load times.

Xbox One X is currently available in 35 Xbox One markets with more coming soon, and retails at $499 USD. Fans are encouraged to buy the new console early this holiday season before quantities run out. For the latest on where to buy Xbox One X, visit xbox.com/xboxonex.

Next up, Microsoft discussed the Xbox One S bundles which are the much more affordable option to the $499 price on the Xbox One X. The company notes “Xbox One S offers the best value in 4K entertainment, with bundles starting at $279 USD.” Quite obviously, there are many bundle options available this holiday season, and we’ve included just a few which Microsoft has chosen to highlight.

Finally, Microsoft highlighted the accessories which are the perfect pairing for any Xbox console this holiday season. There is the Xbox Design Lab controller, the Xbox Elite Wireless Controller, and other custom controller options from Minecraft.
