Here’s this week’s Deals with Gold and “Shocktober” sale – OnMSFT.com

Xbox’s Major Nelson has just announced on his blog this week’s Deals With Gold And Spotlight Sale which this time include a nice selection of horror titles regrouped under the “Shocktober Sale” banner. On the Xbox One, Xbox Live Gold subscribers will be able to get cool discounts on Battleborn, Destiny – The Collection and 7 Days to Die while Xbox 360 owners will be able to get Sanctum 2, Dead Space, Monster Jam: Battlegrounds and more for cheap. Let’s dive into the details below.

Xbox One Deals

Battleborn ($24.00 with Xbox Live Gold)

A tremendous band of badass heroes fight to protect the universe’s very last star from a mysterious evil in this next-gen shooter by the creators of Borderlands. Slash and parry, run and gun, cast and dash, or simply obliterate foes while building and growing your personal team of heroes.

Destiny – The Collection ($49.79 with Xbox Live Gold)

Destiny – The Collection contains every release from the award-winning first-person shooter franchise to date. It’s a great way for Guardians to embark on journeys they may have missed, as well as a perfect starting point for new players who want to join the Destiny community. It includes: Destiny, Expansion I: The Dark Below, Expansion II: House of Wolves, The Taken King, and the newest adventure, Rise of Iron. It also includes a character boost to send you immediately into the battle.

7 Days to Die ($17.99 with Xbox Live Gold)

Set in a brutally unforgiving post-apocalyptic world overrun by the undead, 7 Days to Die is an open-world game that is a unique combination of first person shooter, survival horror, tower defense, and role-playing games. It presents combat, crafting, looting, mining, exploration, and character growth, in a way that has seen a rapturous response from fans worldwide.

Mortal Kombat XL ($32.49)

One of the best-selling titles of 2015 has gone XL! Komplete The Mortal Kombat X Experience with new and existing content. Includes the main game, and new playable characters the Xenomorph from Alien, Leatherface, Tri-borg, and Bo’Rai Cho. Previously released playable characters include Predator, Jason Vorhees, Tremor, Tanya, and Goro. Also includes new skin packs Medieval Pack, Apocalypse Pack, and a new environment, the Pit Stage. All previously released skins packs included.

Xbox 360 deals

Dungeon Defenders ($3.74 with Xbox Live Gold)

An ancient evil has been unleashed on the land of Etheria and it’s up to you to defend it in this online (and offline) action RPG! Create your own hero from one of four distinct classes to summon towers and traps and fight back hordes of enemies! Customize and level your hero by defeating enemies, looting equipment and upgrading your gear and pets. To top it off, you can do all of this with up to 4 friends on the same console or over Xbox LIVE!

Sanctum 2 ($3.74 with Xbox Live Gold)

Sanctum 2 is the sequel to the world’s first Tower Defense/FPS hybrid game. Pick from four unique character classes and embark on a mission to protect the oxygen-producing Cores from hordes of deadly aliens who are threatened by their existence. In Sanctum 2, you will utilize elements from multiple gameplay genres to succeed. Construct towers and walls during the building phase before the enemies attack, then jump into the fray and blast everything to pieces in FPS mode. You can progress through the single-player campaign yourself, or play with up to four friends in co-op to discover the secrets of the planet LOEK III.

Alien: Isolation ($12.49)

Left 4 Dead 2 ($9.99)
