E3 2018: Lenovo introduces new redesigned Legion gaming laptops and desktops

Following E3 2018 today, Lenovo took the wraps off their latest Legion gaming desktops and laptops. The new family of gaming PCs has been re-engineered with a new design, thermals, and the 8th generation Intel processors. Lenovo also told us via email that these devices were built on the feedback from parents, students, and professional gamers, so here’s what you need to know.

Legion Y7000- Starting at $959.99 Available in August 2018

\n

You’ll be finding the Legion Y7000 laptop at many retailers across the US. It comes with a redesigned aluminum top and Y logo, and an improved thermal layout and the latest NVIDIA GeForce GTX graphics and Intel processors. There’s also a rear access port for easy access to connections to accessories.

Legion Y730- 15 Inch starts at $1,179.99, 17-inch starts at $1,249.99 Available in June 2018

The Legion Y730 is a device that improves on the VR features introduced on last years models. It has been updated with a thin and light aluminum body and comes with the 8th Gen Intel Processors, and up to the NVIDIA GeForce GTX-10-Series graphics. There’s also an option for a 144z display, to help compete with gaming laptops in the market. Other features include an overclocked processor, six custom macro “Y” keys for added customization of more than 16 million color combinations on the keyboard.
