Bing is getting into the Black Friday craze by offering up flyers for deals from right within the search results. The search engine is returning results for queries like “Walmart” or “Macy’s” with a showcased section at the top of the results page using flyer ads from Flipp.com:
Black Friday search queries are of course very hot right now, and Bing’s offering up actual deals right from within the search results page might just give holiday deals shoppers an edge. According to Search Engine Land, not all US Bing users are seeing the modified results, and details are not clear with the relationship between Flipp.com, a Canadian company formed in 2007 by a group of former Microsoft engineers, and Microsoft’s Bing search engine.
