The same configuration with a dual core Core i7 processor is even more affordable at $1,099 ($400 off), making it even cheaper than the base model with just 128GB of storage ($1,149). If you’re more interested in the 15-inch Surface Book 2, the cheapest model with a quad-core Core i7 processor, an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 GPU, 16GB of RAM and 256GB of storage is now available for $2,299.

Microsoft’s Surface Book 2 is now approaching two years old, and it remains to be seen is a refreshed model is coming later this year. While it’s no longer top of the line, the Surface Book 2’s unique form factor still makes it a great product for digital artists, and the presence of high-end NVIDIA GeForce GPUs on the Core i7 models still deliver much more power than what you can find in the more recent Surface Pro 6 or Surface Laptop 2.
