EA Sports NBA Live 16 is now available for sale on Microsoft’s Xbox One console and the digital version is currently being sold at a special 10% discount to promote its launch. This latest release in the popular EA Sports NBA Live series is similar to previous versions but also introduces several significant features that create a much more customizable player experience.

Players can now use the new app, GameFaceHD to scan their own face into the game and characters’ clothes can be customized before a game even starts. The game also promises “all-new physics-based player movement system, LIVE Motion, experience free-flowing movement and unparalleled control on the court” in its official product description though how significant these changes will be remains to be seen.

Several online modes are also available such as the new Live Run and Summer Circuit modes which allow for a variety of multiplayer options. EA Sports NBA Live 16 was made available for members of EA Access, giving them a full five days of play before today’s public launch.
