Dell has announced its new line of premium laptops, the first devices that will come with Intel’s new tenth generation “Comet Lake” processors. The computer brand will be offering devices for both consumer and business users in the XPS, Inspiron, and Vostro names.

The company’s most iconic brand, the XPS series, is getting upgrades for the 13-inch variant, sporting the new tenth gen Comet Lake processor. The XPS 13 will also feature Dolby Vision for HDR and option of a 4K ultra HD display, as well as Intel’s Wi-Fi 6 chipset, which is said to be “three times as fast as the previous generation.” The company will release the project starting August 27 for the Core i7 U-series quadcore model starting at $899, with a hexacore variant coming later in October.

Dell is also releasing numerous upgrades to the Inspiron laptops, also coming powered with Intel’s latest generation chipset, with the Inspiron 14 7000 is the company’s primary example. The device, which weighs less than 2 ½ pounds, comes with a built-in fingerprint reader on the power button as well as a display with 100% RGB color coverage.

Dell is also releasing the Inspiron 7000-series 2-in-1s in 13-, 15-, and 17-inch sizes, with now comes with a USB-C port with support for Thunderbolt 3. The company is also upgrading numerous laptops in the 5000 series, including the Inspiron 14- and 15-inch 2-in-1s and the Inspiron 13-, 14-, and 15-inch laptops. Additionally, the Inspiron 3000-series laptops in 14- 15- and 17-inch sizes will now offer NVIDIA® GeForce® MX230 graphics as an option for those looking for better video performance.

If all-in-ones suit your style a little better, the company is also offering the upgraded Inspiron 24 5000 AIO and Inspiron 27 7000 desktop computers starting this Friday, August 23. The company says the devices make for great entertainment computers for those with small dorms.

For business users, Dell is offering upgrades on the Vostro brand laptops with the 13-inch 5000 model as well as the 14- and 15-inch 3000-series devices both sporting the new tenth-generation Intel Core processors. The 14- and 15- inch variants of the 5000-series laptops will also come with NVIDIA GeForce MX250 discrete graphics along with a TPM 2.0 security chip and optional fingerprint scanner. The company is also releasing their first desktop in the 5000 series, coming with a ninth-generation Intel Core R processor and with graphics up to the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070.

For those in North America, Dell will start out with the release of the 7000-series 2-in-1s on August 24 starting at $850, along with the Inspiron 24 starting at $680 and the Inspiron 27 starting at $1,000, plus additional devices coming in the following months. The Inspiron 13 7000 will also be exclusive to those in Brazil, China, and Japan starting August 23.
