HP has introduced its new family of Windows-based Stream laptops, bringing several new features and improvements to the already very affordable notebook range. The new Stream notebooks will be available in 11.6-inch and 14-inch editions, but HP has also announced a Stream 11 Pro targeted at education customers as well as a 11.6-inch Stream x360 model with a touchscreen that can flex in four different positions.

\n

All the new notebooks feature a lighter and slimmer design, and HP has also improved battery life as well as wireless connectivity thanks to new Wi-Fi antennas. Additionally, the notebooks have kept their trademark vibrant color options and HP will also drop the price of select models. Kevin Frost, vice president and general manager, Consumer Personal Systems at HP added:

\n

We’ve enjoyed positive feedback about the HP Stream family, which for many consumers is exactly what they need to access content and services in the cloud from wherever they are. We’ve continued to raise the bar on this popular cloud-based notebook to make it even more portable, more attractive and affordable for customers.
